Trauma Informed Care with PACE

This training course is designed to provide an understanding of developmental trauma, its impact on children and what lifelong effects it can have. It will explore why traditional parenting techniques may not be helpful and recommend alternative caregiving strategies, such as PACE and Secure Base, to help children recover. The course will also cover the impact that caring for a child with developmental trauma can have on the carers which can lead to them developing blocked care and identify ways to manage this.

“

“Many thanks to the team at Swiis who went above and beyond to help me in my situation. I have recently been granted a Special Guardianship Order for my Nephew and Swiis’ help, guidance and knowledge was massively appreciated. I found the webinar courses to be well laid out, presented in a clear and informative way without information overload, the trainer was experienced as both an adopter and a foster carer so had firsthand knowledge that they were able to share.”
